UV disinfection safety, control and reporting all in one place
Add safety, reporting, and data collection to your pulsed-Xenon full-spectrum UV disinfection program with Airocide’s PURONet Disinfection Control System. A first of its kind, PURONet is a combination hardware and software solution that helps hospitals and other facilities ensure safe operation while monitoring and controlling disinfection outcomes in unoccupied spaces.
Operational reporting gives you immediate feedback to track effectiveness, collecting data on each cycle.
Manage full-spectrum UV disinfection with ease and confidence
With our user-friendly system, you can be confident that your full-spectrum UV germicidal protocol achieves its goals in terms of pathogen destruction, while avoiding unintended harm to humans.
Arm the system with the in-room touch screen.
If someone enters the room during a disinfection cycle, our motion sensors stop it immediately to prevent accidental exposure.
Airocide Systems PURONet UV Disinfection Control System
Airocide Systems, leader in safe UV sanitation technology for occupied spaces, offers this solution to support customers who also use pulsed-Xenon UV to sanitize spaces where people are not present. PURONet is currently deployed at major hospitals and healthcare facilities across the U.S.
PURONet Overview
The PURONet system includes an external control screen, main controller, motion sensors to detect any movement within the space, an in-room touch screen to arm the system, and a suite of software that records all disinfection cycle including date, timer and duration. Easy to install and use, it connects to your pulsed-Xenon equipment and runs on 120VAC.
Helo F1 and Helo F2
The Helo F1 and F2 disinfect your space, delivering disinfection from above. These units can be installed in a drop-in grid ceiling, recessed in a hard lid ceiling, suspended or wall mounted. They emit broad spectrum UV light to eliminate up to 99.9% of the bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
Helo F1
Dimensions:
8.60″ x 5.60″ x 2.90″
Installation:
wall mount, surface mount or portable/table top use
Helo F2
Dimensions:
24″ x 5.125″ x 5.75″
Installation:
drop-in ceilings, recessed or ceiling surface mounted, suspended as a pendant, wall mount.
What Is UV Surface Disinfection Technology?
UV surface disinfection technology is designed to help reduce microbial contamination on frequently touched surfaces within commercial and occupied environments. High-touch surfaces can accumulate bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms throughout normal daily operations, particularly in high-traffic indoor spaces.
Surface-focused UV disinfection systems are used as part of broader environmental hygiene and indoor air quality strategies in facilities where cleanliness and occupant well-being are operational priorities.
Airocide Surface systems are designed to support continuous environmental hygiene initiatives in commercial, healthcare, educational, and public environments.
How UV Surface Disinfection Systems Work
UV surface disinfection systems use ultraviolet light technology to help reduce microorganisms that may accumulate on exposed surfaces throughout occupied indoor environments.
These systems are commonly evaluated for environments where frequent surface contact occurs, including shared workspaces, waiting areas, reception counters, public seating areas, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Supports environmental hygiene strategies
- Helps reduce microbial buildup on exposed surfaces
- Designed for continuous operation in occupied environments
- Can complement existing cleaning and sanitation protocols
- Supports broader indoor environmental quality initiatives
Applications for Commercial Surface Disinfection Systems
Healthcare Facilities
Healthcare environments often prioritize surface hygiene within patient-facing and staff-accessible areas where frequent surface contact occurs throughout the day.
Schools and Educational Facilities
Educational facilities may use surface disinfection technologies to support healthier shared environments across classrooms, libraries, cafeterias, and common areas.
Commercial Buildings
Office environments, hospitality properties, retail facilities, and public venues often evaluate environmental hygiene systems as part of broader occupant wellness initiatives.
Public and Shared Spaces
Surface disinfection systems may also be considered for waiting rooms, transportation areas, lobbies, reception areas, and other high-traffic public environments.
Frequently Asked Questions About UV Surface Disinfection
What is a UV surface disinfection system?
A UV surface disinfection system uses ultraviolet light technology designed to help reduce microbial contamination on exposed surfaces within indoor environments.
Where are UV surface disinfection systems used?
These systems may be used in healthcare facilities, schools, commercial buildings, hospitality environments, and public spaces where surface hygiene is important.
Can UV surface systems replace routine cleaning?
No. UV surface disinfection systems are intended to support broader cleaning and sanitation programs, not replace standard cleaning protocols.
What types of surfaces can UV systems help treat?
UV systems may be evaluated for frequently touched surfaces such as counters, shared workspaces, seating areas, public-access surfaces, and other high-contact environments.
Are UV surface disinfection systems designed for occupied spaces?
Some UV surface technologies are specifically engineered for operation within occupied indoor environments when properly designed and installed.
