Our Airocide Far-222 Solution Visium is a ceiling-mounted, human-safe light fixture that inactivates up to 99.9% of surface and airborne pathogens in spaces where people are present. Far-UVC works by shining 222nm light directly into a room. It has the power to inactivate bacteria and viruses by disrupting DNA and proteins, but its shorter wavelength gives it a shorter penetration depth, so it cannot penetrate the superficial layers of human skin or eyes.
